Prepping for a Vacation

The joys of prepping for a vacation. As much fun as vacations are, they tend to be a little stressful. You’ve got to book your airline tickets, decide on transportation, figure out lodging, and anything else you need. I’ve made a to-do list for every trip and it honestly saves me time. It helps eliminate forgetting things and even keeps my trip stress free.
Here’s the few things I do to prep for departure:
- Watch the weather here and where I am going to, so I know what to pack
- Decide how I am getting to the airport: parking, leave my car at the airport or have a friend take me to the airport
- Pack a few days ahead of time
- Take a book for the plane
- Day of the trip: wake up earlier and make sure everything is ready to go!
How do you prep for a vacation?

Don’t Travel Without Checking Twitter
Before choosing or traveling to your next destination, you should check to see if they have a Twitter page.
If you are heading some place new and need to know a good restaurant, look to Twitter. Want to know what there is to do?
If there are any good travel deals? Twitter has all of the answers. Lots of major companies (Disney), and travel and tourism bureaus (Portland) have Twitter accounts and are more than happy to help. Don’t know where to start? Check out this article.
